Description: The ACT Greens are promising to open four new bulk-billing GP clinics across Canberra if they win the October territory election. The plan is to hire more than 40 doctors to staff two clinics in Canberra’s north, and another two in the south. The Greens say, if delivered, they would provide Canberrans with more than 160,000 free appointments each year. The proposal would cost just shy of $10 million across the next term of government. Health spokeswoman Emma Davidson says all Canberrans deserve access to free, quality public healthcare.
